Virtualization Options
Xen 3.0.4 has recently been released. Connexan has not finished testing Xen 3.0.4,
but it adds ACPI for Windows and Linux guests. Our tests indicated some instability
of Xen 3.0.2 and 3.0.3 while rebooting (destroying / creating domains) Xen VMs running
Linux and Windows simultaneously. We are exploring the matter further.
Microsoft Virtual Server has matured into a viable, enterprise virtualization offering.
Microsoft Virtual Server offer native x64 host support, allowing it to address up
to 1TB of host memory. This lifts many limitations in performance and scalability
of x86 Virtualization.
